  • Planning Application submitted 2013 and refused by Mid Sussex District Council – revised scheme for 81 residential units, including 30% social housing and 2 bungalows
  • Coalescence between Hurstpierpoint and Hassocks was duly considered.
  • Site was again presented at Committee, with a recommendation for refusal, however the Committee overturned the officers’ recommendation.
  • Application was duly approved and sold to Thakeham Homes
