  • The Vendors instructed Land & Brand New Homes, working with Gleeson Strategic Land, in relation to the site’s promotion and disposal
  • The development site consists of approximately 10.87 acres, located on the north side of Bishops Lane, on the edge of the village.  The site is situated within approximately 0.5 miles of local shops in Springett Avenue and approximately 2.5 miles from Lewes
  • Outline planning consent under reference LW/14/0127 was granted at Appeal on 5 January 2016, under reference APP/P1425/W/14/3001077, for a scheme of up to 110 dwellings, which include 40% affordable housing
  • Disposal of the site was finally agreed with Bovis Homes in September 2016
